Daveed Diggs

DAVEED DIGGS (“Watts”)  is as humbled and honored as he’s ever been to be working with such incredible artists on this project.  Some recent credits include Custom Made Theatre’s Red Light Winter (Matt), Theatreworks A Civil War Christmas (Fredrick/Silver), SF Shakespeare Festival’s A Comedy of Errors (Solinus/Dr. Pinch), Pacific Rep Theater’s Troilus and Cressida (Troilus), The Magic Theatre’s Moving Right Along (Freddie), The SF Playhouse Six Degrees of Separation (Paul) and Jesus Hopped the A Train (Angel).  Daveed Diggs is currently producing work with Hip-Hop Collective The Getback (Look for his new album Small Things To A Giant later this year), and teaches rap and spoken word classes throughout the Bay Area. Diggs is co-writing and performing in a piece for the Living Word Festival called The One Drop Rule. In New York, Diggs is a member of the improvisational theater/rap event Freestyle Love Supreme.  Also, catch him in San Francisco’s Improvisational music/super-hero squadron The Freeze.
